BBC iPlayer is getting a massive redesign and all-new ways
Windows 10 media player disappeared after update 12/15 Dec 20, 2015 Kindle Fire HD - Can't get Iplayer to work — Digital Spy Try uninstalling the Iplayer app then installing the bbc media player app first. Then reinstall the Iplayer app, it does work with both sd and hd versions of the fire. There also is a known issue with some wifi connections which the BBC have said will be fixed in the next update. iPlayer is requesting that I update my TV before it will work properly. When I go to 'Menu' and look at the update settings, I can see there is an available update (1550 - my TV is currently on 1350) but there's no option to update.
